Information for media
Cholangiocarcinoma is a devastating cancer with appalling survival rates due to late diagnosis and few treatment options. This disease is poorly understood and under researched, even though it is increasing in incidence globally. We believe collaboration is the way forward and, by supporting research for early detection and innovative treatments, we can help change the future for many people.
World Cholangiocarcinoma Day, February 14, 2018, is an opportunity for concerned charities and organisations around the world to unite and raise awareness of this disease – bringing hope to those diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma.
